Civilizations:

The first step into the game after making an account would be the game letting you pick one of the 3 civilizations with each having different starter commanders. Each of these commanders have their own strength and weaknesses so picking the right one can help smooth sail your process from the get go. Other than that each of these civilizations also provide various buffs and special units.

 

For Example: Humans are PvP oriented, that is because the starter hero is a mage who is good at PvP and the easily purchase able hero is also a mage. So from the start they can form a really strong duo and do fantastic in early game warfare.

 

Recommendation:

Now we all have preferences and have opinions on which being the best civilization but from an objective view Elf would be best starting civilization to choose from.
